Hello hello hello. It feels strange to be typing this out as I haven’t wrote a post in quite a long time! You may have noticed that things look a little different around here. Welcome to the new Adam Inflight site! I have been working on this bad boy since the beginning of the year, slowly churning away and finally it’s ready. I had a ton of help from Jay and friends/family testing things out. Hopefully you guys like the refresh and I’ll be writing up a proper post next week about it.
So what’s new? Last you heard from me I was living in Israel. That chapter has ended and I am now living in London! Things were messy for a few weeks as I was apartment hunting, sleeping on couches and lugging bags all over the place. I ended up flying to Boston and making that my base for a bit whilst paperwork went underway but now I am finally settled! So far London is awesome. I’m excited for the summer and to get exploring/show you guys around. With that I have started a new job so things might go slow on here but I’m trying to get as backed up as possible (so hopefully not). I am Designing/Art Directing at an agency and really enjoying it thus far. Being in the hustle and bustle of a big city reminds me of NYC but here people are politer and I can get Percy Pigs whenever I want (although after the vote I’m now rethinking my situation eek).
Travel wise I did quite a bit! If you follow me on Twitter I kept you pretty up to date. I went to Cyprus which was very spontaneous and unorganised haha but still a great trip. In contrast I went around Scandinavia and planned the crap out of it. There will be an excessive amount of posts coming soon regarding that so I won’t blah on it now – however I did go to Eurovision! Believe it or not but I have zero upcoming trips (scary thought for me). I know I want to do one or two weekend aways this summer, just figuring out where. As always you’ll be one of the first to know when I make a decision!
It is my birthday super soon so I have started reflecting on the last year and figuring out what I want to do. That also means it’s time for a new birthday bucket list and trying to decide on realistic but still exciting goals is a challenge. I always want to put Africa, India and South America but with this new job and settling it doesn’t seem that likely for now. Still you can find out what I pick super soon (and how well I did last year).
As a last section thing, I did some new things the last month! You may or may not know but I love neon. Neon lights always catch my attention and I am a real moth at heart. Therefore I treated myself and took a neon sign making class up in Wakefield. It was everything I could’ve hoped for and now all I want to do is keep on making more and more. On an opposite scale to that I ran my first 10k! I’m building up for a marathon next year and am taking baby steps. It was really fun running around London and going past St. Paul’s and Monument. Getting a medal at the end makes everything worthwhile and I can’t wait to do another.
I hope you guys have been great and I’ll let you explore the new site!
