Good morning world. I got back a few days ago to Boston and I’m already breaking out the winter clothes. It is freezing here which isn’t a great sign as that means winter is coming and last year the snow was off the charts (literally, it broke records). If you do plan on braving it and coming during the winter you should check out all the posts I did on Boston last week here. I think they’re pretty informative and interesting but I guess I’m bias haha.
What else is happening? I am back from LA and Japan. I hit up LA on either side of my Tokyo flights to see some friends and generally cope with jetlag. Whilst there I got to go to Universal Studios Horror Nights which was incredible. If you can, definitely go check it out! You get to go on all the rides and also these special scary mazes (but really it’s just lots of fun to laugh at your friends and get your adrenaline pumping). I also managed to go to the Magic Castle! If you read my birthday bucket list post then you’ll know that was on there and I can officially cross it of now! It was such an amazing experience and I am a big fan and supporter of magic and magicians. I got to wear a suit and walk around the castle meandering with talented people and watch their shows whilst drinking classy cocktails. You aren’t allowed to take photographs inside but here’s one from the outside and of my program haha. Thanks to Brian, Justin and Aimee for going with me and organising it all.
Coming up on the blog is my Japan trip. I wasn’t sure how to distinguish posts so I’m just going to do day by day. It’ll mean a lot of reading (sorry if you bother), but I think the flow is great and hopefully it’ll give you guys some tips or ideas on how to organise your own trip. I’ll do a summary post at the very end to make it all easier to go through. I also filmed quite a bit so I might try and make a mini video. I think a lot of what I saw is better explained and visualised as a film so we’ll see how that attempt goes.
Plans with me are a little complicated and I don’t want to give too much away as everything is still up in the air but I’m likely leaving the states in the next month. After four years in NYC and Boston I think it’s time for something new and somewhere new. We’ll see what happens I guess and probably in #11 there’ll be some big announcement or reveal. I hope you are all having a fantastic pre-Halloween and getting ready to spook your friends and family. I’ll catch you in a few weeks but in the mean time check out twitter and instagram as I keep those pretty furiously updated with new posts and info!
