Happy Sunday! It is a gorgeous day in Boston and I hope the sun is shining wherever you are. I have just got back from the west coast where I visited Vancouver, Seattle, Victoria and Whistler. I met up with my friends Rachel and Kyle and we explored together over a week. I had never been to British Columbia before so it was all new experiences and so different to Toronto and Montreal. There will be posts about those places coming next week so stay tuned!
Earlier in the month I went to New York to see some friends and hang out. I didn’t really record it that well but one of the highlights was the FAILE exhibit. FAILE is a collaboration between two Patrick’s and I had not heard of them prior but have since fallen in love. They actually have a few things going on at the Brooklyn Museum but I loved the arcade section the best. It features two rooms, one with these electric posters as seen below and the other with unique pinball and gaming machines. I’m terrible at describing but if you get a chance then go (more info here).
Now for future announcements – I am going to Japan! It was pretty spontaneous and I am still a little confused by it but I will be there this time next month (super soon). I am going to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Mt. Koya and Nara (as of present) and of course will be documenting it all. I’ll be there for a total of ten days and am super excited. I’m currently in planning mode and will probably put up a post soon on how I do that and what’s on the current itinerary. Sneak peak – sushi, robots and pokemon.
I hope you are all having a great August and bring on September!
