Hey hi hello! It is now July and we are halfway through 2015 – crazy. I am currently in Boston and the weather has been scorching. My sister and I went out to some harbour islands this weekend and I basically turned into a sweaty glob. I’m currently working on a few posts about Boston/what to do and see so they should be coming out shortly. As a sneak peak though we went to see some local art at the Lawn on D (a park in Seaport) and got to hang out with these giant, inflatable bunnies.
You may have noticed that the site got a little makeover. I am still in the process of changing things but I guess a solid base is here now. Version 3.0 is hopefully a little easier to use and handier to find previous posts. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions!
In Alaska I bought a new camera – the Sony Alpha a5100. When I get to those posts hopefully you’ll be able to notice a difference in quality? So far I really like it and am still learning all the kinks to it. I was always a Canon boy but wanted something different and also got a great deal on this. (Ironically I had to use my phone to take the photo of the camera though haha). I also purchased the Kanken bag by Fjallraven. I’ve wanted one of these for a while as they are so durable. I love the side pockets to put drinks and my sunglasses in. I also love that it has back straps and handles on the top as I tend to differ how I hold my bag whilst I walk. I do wish it had more pockets and structure to the inside segment as it’s basically just one big hole in there. I have been mixing it up between this one and my Herschel and will keep you posted on what I like more.
Travel wise I have zero trips planned which feels so weird to type out. I am now in the stages of trying to be a big boy and find that adult job. That means I am in limbo as I wait to interview and hear back from places so unfortunately I can’t really book to go anywhere. On the upside though I have tons of posts coming as I catch up. Next week is going to be a domino effect of posts as I get out all the mid-southern states I visited so keep an eye out!
Hope you are all having a perfect hump day and see you on Sunday.
